  I Recently called trying to get a hold of Denise Holland because I work for a very reputable and nation wide Recruiting firm.The First time I called some guy, before I could even speak, yelled at me that they were not going to donate to the special Olympics and hung up. So, seeing as I'm not affiliated with the Special Olympics I called back and a female answered this time and I was trying to explain that I had just got hung up on and the whole scenario when she cussed at me saying they were not a charity. I finally explained to her that I had no affiliation with the Special Olympics and that I was calling to speak to Denise. She then said that Denise wasnt interested in whatever I was selling, which of course I was not selling anything I was simply trying to talk to Denise about some very good career opportunities we had in her area. But what if I had been a client? Is this how they speak to and treat everyone? I was completely speechless that a firm such as Ameriprise would allow their employees to talk to people like that on the phone without even knowing who they were speaking of. I had an account with a small inheritance in it at the local Ameriprise office where I live and after work that day I immediately moved my business elsewhere and will never recommend this firm to anyone.
